Technical training in the Air Force (6 and 4 months classroom and a few OJT and correspondence courses) was followed by a year at a professional photo school. That was followed up by a couple decades of not using the skills professionally. Tedd says he really has been making photographs for all that time but just recently decided to pursue it with more advanced equipment and see if he can make a business of it. He went digital in early 2007.

Tedd has shot a layout for Taste of Home magazine and has two shots in the current Washington State Visitors Guide (one on 94-95 [Mount Adams] and one on 96 [Prosser balloon shot].

Tedd hopes to someday get back into 4x5 field cameras.
